The candidate:

Fairmont High School is seeking the services of a suitably qualified, inspiring Afrikaans FAL Educator to teach Grades 8 - 11 to start 1 January 2026. Teaching experience is preferred, but not essential.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• A recognised teaching qualification is required. Post graduate studies in a related field is an advantage.

• Qualified to teach Grades 10 – 12 is essential.

• Ability to use computer technology within the classroom is a requirement.

• Commitment to and embodiment of the School’s core values of Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence.

• Active involvement in the school extra-mural programme, with high awareness of and commitment to the holistic development of learners.

• A demonstrated commitment to life-long learning and personal professional development.
