Samca Premier League Small Drill And Groups Champions 2011

The 32 Drum Majorettes of Fairmont High School in Durbanville competed in the recent South African Majorette & Cheerleading Association National Championships in Durban on 10, 11 and 12 July. The team competed in the Premier League section of the championships and achieved first place in the Flag, Baton and Pom Pon/Non-Prop Groups.
In addition, the 32 girls competed in the Small Drill category of the Premier League and achieved the following results: Leader 1st place, Sub-Leaders, 1st place, Squad 1st place, Display, 1st place and Team Overall, 1st place. The Drum Majorettes are trained by Karen Donachie and she is assisted by Kelly Swanepoel and Kimberleigh Anderson all of whom are past pupils and were drum majorettes of Fairmont.
