Directing Fairmonts ‘Green’ Policy

The School Governing Body of Fairmont High School requests the voluntary services of a parent to take on the task on behalf of the SGB to monitor, direct, assist and have visionary input with respect to our “Green” Policy at school.

The parent would be required to:

• Assist Mr Cronje with his recycling initiative
• Investigate means of reducing our electricity account
• Investigate means of saving and storing water
• Encourage recycling activities in the school
• Investigate options of using solar power for our geysers
• Assist to instilling an environmental conservation ethos in the school
• Report to the School Governing Body at its monthly meetings
