Clothing bank times:
Every day from  07:30 - 08:30, first and second break and from 14:30 - 15:30.

Other times apply during exam times.

1.2 Boys – Summer
Old uniform:
Dark-brown blazer with Fairmont Badge (Compulsory)
Short-sleeved flat collared white shirt with ‘FAIRMONT SCHOOL’ embroidered on pocket
Or short-sleeved collared white shirt with tie
Brown long trousers with official school belt and brown anklet socks
Or khaki shorts with long khaki socks
Dark-brown shoes - official approved style (Not suede)

Dark-brown jersey - official V-neck long sleeve (optional). Not to be worn with the open neck flat collar shirt.
Wearing of the blazer is optional for most of the summer, but is compulsory for a number of day and evening functions, when on educational visits and when visiting other schools.
A jersey may only be worn in addition to a blazer.

Dark-brown jersey - official V-neck long sleeve

Dark-brown and white scarf (official design, i.e. knitted dark-brown with three l cm white stripes, 7cm from each end.) (Optional)
Dark-brown gloves (Optional)
Plain white Dri-mac (Optional)
A jersey may only be worn in addition to the blazer in winter.

Brown checked dress
Socks - white nylon
Dark-brown shoes with laces or with bar: official approved style
Dark-brown jersey - official V-neck long sleeve (Optional), and may not be worn
on its own with the summer dress.

Wearing of the blazer is optional for most of the summer, but is compulsory for a number of day and evening functions, when on educational visits and when visiting other schools.
A jersey may only be worn in addition to the blazer in winter.

White socks
Dark-brown shoes with laces or with bar

A pullover may be worn without a blazer

1.6 Suitcases / Briefcases
A dark-brown briefcase with handle and divisions
A dark-brown conventional school suitcase
A dark-brown canvas bag with back straps or shoulder strap

In order to provide protection for books, a case/bag should close dequately and have a rigid exterior, or a rigid interior compartment. Cases/bags should be fitted with handles and straps.

1.7 Tog-bags
The official dark-brown/green school bag
 

 

1.8 Matric Tops

These are not part of the official school uniform and may not be worn with any part of the uniform without the permission of the Principal.

 

1.9 Cycle Shorts
These may not be worn with school uniform.

1.10 Sport
Tracksuit: Official tracksuit (available from the Clothing Bank)
Socks: First Team players wear the official first team socks.
Tops: First Team players wear the official first team tops.

All sport clothing will be stocked and sold by the Clothing Bank at school.
All clothing to be marked clearly.
